This is the worst attitude to have about literally any musical, especially one like Les Mis. Do you know how much a ticket to Les Mis costs? In England it ranges from £15-£121, probably even more in some cases. Now you might think £15 (about $22) but a) that means they won’t be great seats and b) what if they don’t live in London? Then they have to get there and get to the theatre and what if they need to stay there overnight? Or eat?
I’ve been saving to see Les Mis in a few months and it will end up costing us about £100-£150 each for the least expensive good tickets we can get and travel to London and back. Reminder this is in England, which isn’t even that big of a country so imagine what it will be like for someone who wants to see it on Broadway?
Don’t be such an ignorant ass, not everyone can afford to pay huge amounts of money to see a musical whenever they want to.
